Design and publish your shopping app
Design your Shopify store’s mobile app with drag-and-drop blocks, preview it on your phone and publish it on Google Play and the App Store under your own name.
1. Set up
In Vikalp Omni → Omni App, finish the four set-up steps: Store connection (the Storefront API token from Shopify’s Headless channel), Customer sign-in (the Customer Account API client ID and the callback address), Name and icon (app name, app ids and icon), and App push, which Vikalp Omni sets up for you.
2. Design
Open the App designer: pick a store theme, header, tab bar and shop menu, then arrange more than 50 blocks on your screens and add your own pages. Press Save to keep a draft, Preview on phone to try it, and Publish when you’re ready. Changes after that reach the app without a new build.
3. Android
In Omni App → Android, select Build Android app (about 15 minutes), then Download for Play Console and upload the file to your own Google Play developer account ($25 once).
4. iPhone
In Omni App → iPhone, connect your Apple Developer account ($99 a year) with its two keys, create the app in App Store Connect, then select Build iPhone app (about 30 minutes). It goes straight to TestFlight; submit it for review from App Store Connect.
5. Engage
In Omni Marketing → App Push, send campaigns and switch on the ready automations, and in Omni App → Rewards, reward customers for signing in to your app.
