Set up the wishlist and price-drop alerts
Add wishlist hearts to your store, create a wishlist page and let customers hear about price drops, restocks and low stock.
1. Hearts
Switch on the Vikalp Omni app embed: the header heart and hearts on product cards come with it. Add the Wishlist button block to your product page.
2. Wishlist page
Create a page called Wishlist and add the Wishlist page block. Set its address in Vikalp Omni → Wishlist → Settings if it isn’t /pages/wishlist.
3. Alerts
Turn on price-drop, back-in-stock and low-stock alerts. Customers who ticked “Email me” get an email from your address; customers who allowed your notifications get one on their phone or computer, and can turn wishlist alerts off.
4. Lists, sharing and gift lists
Signed-in customers make their own lists and share one by message, email or their phone’s share menu. A shared list can be a gift list: friends tick “I’ll buy this” so nobody buys the same gift twice, and the customer chooses whether to see what’s been bought. Both can be turned off in Vikalp Omni → Wishlist → Settings.
