Set up Omni Pass: loyalty, VIP tiers and store credit
Configure how Omni Tokens are earned, design VIP tiers and cards, add rewards to the Token and Credit stores, and put Omni Pass on your store.
1. Decide how tokens are earned
Open Vikalp Omni → Omni Pass → Earning. Set tokens per amount spent (for example 1 token per ₹10) and your return window — order tokens wait until it passes, so refunds never cost you.
Turn on joining, birthday, social follows, verified reviews and referrals, and set a daily cap for non-order rewards.
2. Design your VIP tiers
In VIP tiers, set the tokens needed for each tier, a token multiplier, a birthday gift and the perks. Each tier has a digital card: pick colours, a pattern or an image and watch the preview.
Tiers can count tokens earned all time, or in the last 12 months.
3. Add rewards
Token Store: amount-off and percentage-off coupons, free shipping, free products, or converting tokens into Omni Credits.
Credit Store: products bought with Omni Credits — any product. Making a product Unlisted in Shopify keeps it out of your collections and search, but anyone with its link can still buy it at its normal price: the Credit Store price is a members’ price, not a lock.
Five starter rewards are added for you, switched off. Review them and switch on the ones you want.
4. Names, wording and translations
In Settings, rename the programme, tokens and credits (for example “Omni Rewards”). Under Words customers see, change any text in any language.
Shopify’s checkout says “Store credit”: see the guide Rename “Store credit” at checkout.
5. Put it on your store
Create a page called Omni Pass (Online Store → Pages), open it in the theme editor and add the Omni Pass block.
Add the Omni Pass sign-up block to your home page, the Tokens to earn block under your product price and in your cart, and the Omni Pass card on your account page.
In App embeds → Vikalp Omni, switch on the floating Omni Pass button and the join pop-up. For tokens on product cards, switch on the Omni Tokens app embed.
Checkout, thank-you and order status pages
In Shopify, go to Settings → Checkout → Customize. On the Thank you and Order status pages, click Add app block → Omni Pass, and save. Customers see the tokens their order earns and a link to their pass. Stores on Shopify Plus can add the block to checkout too.
6. Switch it on
In Settings, switch Omni Pass on and Save. Customers are tagged omni-pass and omni-pass:<tier> in Shopify, ready for segments and automations.
In Emails & notifications, choose which messages go out and design them.
